Never let a panda play the trumpet

If changes in music style/genre can lead to a change in mood and thought, then it can be assumed that this minor change, will cause a variation of and potentially temporarily an increase of intelligence for that moment. It follows then, that since music (through culture) can be considered a positive influencing factor in our intelligence and overall advancement as a species, it's also potentially in other animal’s best interest to develop the ability to create music as quickly as possible.
